We are committed to protecting your personal information and conversation privacy with the strictest standards, and to telling you what we do in clear, plain language.

1Introduction

SoulAI ("we", "the platform") respects and protects the privacy of every user. This Privacy Policy applies to all information generated when you access SoulAI through H5, PWA or our iOS / Android clients. Please read and understand the entire policy before using the service. By starting to use SoulAI, you confirm that you understand and agree to this policy.

2Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account info: phone number, email, nickname, avatar, birthday, gender.
  • Conversation content: text, images and voice messages with AI characters.
  • Creative content: virtual companions you build in Studio.
  • Feedback & support: tickets, emails and chat logs with our team.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Device info: model, OS, browser version, language, time zone.
  • Log info: access time, IP address, session duration, crash logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: used for session persistence, preference memory and security.

3How We Use Information

  • To deliver, maintain and improve SoulAI services, including conversation generation and personalized recommendations.
  • To send service notifications, security alerts and product updates.
  • To detect, prevent and respond to fraud, abuse and unlawful activity.
  • To comply with applicable laws and requests from regulatory or judicial authorities.

Our promise: We will not use your private conversation content for any commercial purpose or large-model training, unless you actively opt in to "Contribute to model training".

4Storage & Protection

All data is encrypted at rest in data centers certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2. Conversation data uses end-to-end encrypted transport and encrypted storage. We deploy layered defenses including WAF, intrusion detection, least-privilege access and regular penetration testing.

5Sharing & Disclosure

We never sell your personal information to third parties. We may share or disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • With your prior consent;
  • With compliant vendors entrusted to provide essential services (payment, SMS, customer support);
  • When required by law, government or judicial authority;
  • To protect the legitimate rights of the platform, its users or the public.

6Your Rights

  • Right to access: review all your data in "Me → Data Center" anytime.
  • Right to rectification: edit any field of your personal profile.
  • Right to erasure: delete a single message, an entire memory or all account data with one tap.
  • Right to portability: download a complete data backup in JSON or CSV.
  • Right to withdraw consent: revoke any authorization in "Settings → Privacy".

7Protection of Minors

This service is principally aimed at users 18 and older. Users between 13 and 17 must use it with parental consent and "Teen Mode" is enabled automatically. If we discover an account belonging to a child under 13, we will immediately delete the account and all related data.

8Cross-border Data Transfers

Our users span many countries and regions, and data may be stored in data centers compliant with local law. Any cross-border transfer relies on GDPR / CCPA-recognized "Standard Contractual Clauses" or equivalent safeguards.

9Changes to This Policy

When material changes occur, we will notify you at least 7 days in advance via in-app messages, email and a notice on the homepage. Continued use is treated as acceptance of the new version; if you disagree, please stop using the service and request account deletion.
